OSWALD Newsletter Archives (by issue #, click to view)
The Open Source Law Weekly Digest or OSWALD first launched late in 2002. Since then it has been regularly providing updates on all things open source related. The focus of this newsletter is on business, rather than technical developments in open source. Another strong component of the newsletter is IP news, as it is of interest to me and has an effect on open source.
Welcome to the Open Source Law Weekly Open Source Digest (OSWALD)
I have deliberately delayed this week's edition because I will be away next week (so no Oswald) and Oswald is likely to be late the following week. Lots of (off topic) stories about the new Surface product from Microsoft. Linus Torvalds criticises Nvidia for not playing well with Linux. ACTA is under pressure and may not be ratified in Europe and an FOI request reveals UK Government preference for closed storage equipment.
